Vegetable Shopping at the Farmer’s Market in Prague 6

In everywhere I’ve lived outside of North America (India, Sudan, Japan, Czech Republic), the vegetables go bad more quickly than in Canada. The consequence of this is that I tend to buy vegetables several times a week instead of only shopping once a week. I was very excited to return to Prague at the end of July and find a new farmer’s market about 200m from my home. There is always a fruit stall and a vegetable stall. Today there is also a stall selling nut butters and Czech pastries.

I stopped by this morning to buy some vegetables to roast. Look at my haul of cauliflower, zucchini, bell peppers, parsley and lemons!
